As a black-owned & operated publication, the very core of our existence at Risk has been to empower, amplify, and spread the voices, messages, and imagery of those who have often felt silenced & unheard. We are enraged by the senseless acts of police brutality that have gone overlooked, most recently with the deaths of #GeorgeFloyd, #AhmaudArbery, and #BreonnaTaylor, who was shot 8 times and killed on March 13th by Louisville PD.
This is a time for action. Our team has been putting forth efforts personally and collectively to advocate for change in their communities & across the nation. We challenge you to take part in the fight for equality in some type of way.
